And the packing is well underway.
We have decided that Owen is joining us for this trip too. He loves China-- HIS China, and is a great traveler as he showed us when he came along for Lily's adoption.
Mike and I also made the decision that I will return to the US (with Owen) after one week. With 4 children at home and not to mention Thanksgiving, it just made sense. While we both would like to be able to stay for the entire time, the reality is we just can't see that working out well for anyone. So, Mike and Matthew will stay in China to complete the medical, visa and immigration paperwork. They will be home on Thanksgiving and the rest of the kiddos and I will welcome them home!
We are working on the details for our trip but have our tickets and have spoken with the travel company that our agency uses to arrange all the details of the trip in China. They are reserving our hotel room, guide and transportation to and from the airport and adoption related business.
Matthew Day is November 14th. In 18 days we get to meet our little man...we can not wait!
