We are down to mere hours before we take off for the journey of a lifetime-- or 5 lifetimes as the case may be for us.
Not looking forward to the 16 hours in a plane, but I have friends who have endured more than 16 hours of labor with intense physical pain, nausea and fatigue. So, my "labor" will be much easier than that. We get fed. We get to watch movies. I can read a book (heck, maybe two!) And, the best part is Mike and I will be at the same place at the same time for more than 5 minutes.
I was joking that the day before I leave is my "spa day." I wish.
The To-Do List includes:
Confirm flights
Book Hotel in Hong Kong(oops forgot to do that)
Confirm dogs' reservation at Pet Resort-- at least they get a resort stay!
Clean house (Sara can not know how we REALLY live)
Check Diane, Mike and Owen have all medications- refill those that are due
Let daycare know Lily is not coming
Let school know new emergency contact info
And, did I mention we are not packed yet??? I started it though!
We intend to blog from China. And, Grace, my "adoptive" mom has agreed to post pictures for us. I hope she behaves herself! LOL
