We are beginning the LONG day and night of travel to Hong Kong in just a bit. Mike was worried that we only have 2 suitcases for the 4 of us (plus one bin of supplies for the orphanage.) Well, if we don't have it, I guess we do not need it! And, this will seriously limit what we can bring back-- which is probably a good thing.
I slept pretty well last night for a few hours. Wish I could have gotten more, but I am a little anxious and a lot excited to take this trip and meet my son.
Yesterday I went back and read all the post from Lily's adoption. The day before I left I wrote my dad a letter in heaven. I miss him at times like this. I think I am far less stressed about this trip than I was 2 years ago. Guess by the 5th time you have experienced it all and know what to expect!
Keep us in your thoughts and prayers. Pray for our safety, health and that things go smoothly. Pray that Matthew is not scared and that he finds comfort in our arms. Pray for our children here at home and with friends.
