WELCOME HOME!

Mike and Matthew made it home safely on Thursday. We had a lot to be thankful for this Thanksgiving. Matthew is a perfect fit for our family and such a amazing little guy. He is a lot of fun and his siblings are enjoying his antics.

The kids and I went to Chicago to wait for the plane to land. According to the site, it was going to be almost 2 hours early...so we got the airport early. Well, their plane was early, but just about an hour which left us waiting and waiting and waiting. We met some nice people there who were very excited to learn about our newest addition and even hung around to see him arrive.

We made a quick stop at my mother's house to have some turkey and introduce her and my sister and her family to our little man. It was a quick visit since 24 hours of traveling wore out Mike and Matthew.

The ride home was uneventful. He did fine in the carseat and took a little rest. He was terrified of the dogs at first. He would scream at the top of his lungs and I swear he called Rosie "Godzilla" (after all, she is as big as he is!)

Matthew got into the swing of things immediately. He watched the other kids to see what they were doing, and followed suit. He likes the routine and loves having other kids to play with.

He really is a perfect match for our family!
